Lotty hand paints every original sarong on silk. This is a painstaking process that requires much preparation in the design and the color stages . Once finished the sarongs are sent to be copied and printed on top quality silk in China.
This "Papaya"design was seen in Town and Country magazine. The short silk Kimono was only produced in a limited numbers and sold out within weeks.
Lotty also does commissions, here she is painting a scarf for the Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados.
The initial design contains features of the Caribbean and emblems of the hotel ,such as the monkey, these are then incorporateed into an overall design on paper and then onto silk.
